Annual Rendezvous Celebrates Eureka

The celebration of spring is heralded in the Tobacco Valley with the annual Rendezvous celebration at the end of April.

This year's even is April 24-26.

This year marks several revisions, Most noteable, the Kick-Off concert moves the Eureka Middle School in the gymnasium, with the Bop-a-Dips as the headliner. A Taste of Rendezvous food court will furnish a wide-variety of local restaurants and food vendors.

Eureka’s Rendezvous coincides with the annual David Thompson Black Powder Shoot, which draws hundreds of participants and observers to a weekend of competition and camaraderie. The shoot is held through the weekend at the historic 69 Ranch north of town. Visitors are welcome to watch the contests and tour the camp.

All of your old favorite Rendezvous events will be back, including the Village vendors arts and crafts with lots of free music, car show, parade, quilt show, flea market and arts and crafts, the black powder shoot and camp, the Dutch oven cook off, mud bog and sand drags, and much more.

Rendezvous is a major fund-raiser for the Eureka Chamber of Commerce and is planned as a family event with something for everyone. Now in its 10st year, Eureka’s Rendezvous attracts local residents and visitors from throughout the state and the Northwest.
