First Interstate Bank has been a full service bank in the Eureka area since September 1997. The Bank is a family–owned financial institution that operates in Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. Last year First Interstate Bank purchased First Western Bank that has 18 branches that operate in the Black Hills and Badland areas of South Dakota. On Sept. 28, 2009, First Western Banks changed its name to First Interstate Bank.

First Interstate Bank of Eureka has nine employees. Vicki Tisdell has been branch manager since 1997 and handles commercial and real estate loans. Robert Haidle is a commercial loan officer and handles commercial and real estate loans. Shelly Gilman is our consumer loan officer and handles personal loans and real estate loans. Jocelyn Ryan is our loan clerk and compliance person and does loan processing, lien filing and secretarial duties and handles all of our compliance issues. Ann Perez is our new accounts representative and teller supervisor. John Acord is a new accounts representative. Our front line people are Melissa Roose, Lena Henderson and Sarah Smith. You will always find them with a smile on their face and enthusiasm to help you.
First Interstate Bank has a full range of banking products. For the convenience of the community, the bank has a 24-hour ATM, two drive-up lanes, and a night drop. The location of First Interstate Bank is 508 Highway 93 North and hours of operation are: Lobby: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Drive-up is open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments may be made between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. We also offer telephone banking and Internet banking so that you can access your accounts 24 hours a day.
