Mountain View Manor Good Samaritan Center has been serving the Tobacco Valley for over 30 years. Although the facility has undergone many changes and cared for thousands of people, its mission has never changed, according to the Manor’s administrator, Don Alexander: to share God’s love in word and deed by providing chelter and supportive services to older persons and others in need in the belief that “In Christ’s Love, Everyone Is Someone.”

“In our continuing endeavor to make our center as homelike as possible,” Alexander noted, “We have during the past few years decorated each resident room, purchased a new van for the residents’ enjoyment, and we are currently getting the building re-sided.”
Each resident at Mountain View Manor continues to live life to its fullest by enjoying being with old friends and making new ones.
“But all of this would be of limited value if it was not for the caring staff that truly puts the residents’ best interest ahead of their own,” Alexander added.
