Northwest Audio Video officially became its own entity in 2009, but the idea of the company began five years ago as Jeff Broom of Northwest Electrical saw more of a need in the low voltage area of electrical work. Northwest Electrical was constantly being asked by its contractors to provide the service for them – speakers, stereos, networking audio and video, security, and more.

Broom realized a second entity was needed. He started out by hiring one employee, Frank Dierman, and they have since added two more technicians: Tom Price and Derek Keller. In the fall of 2008, Mike Hansen joined the group. Mike is a certified Cedia Designer and brings years of audio/video experience to the company.
Northwest Audio Video is able to supply and install all areas of home electronics, from installing one TV or central vacuum to total home integration. They have a large product line including Integra, Control 4, Sonance, Lutron, and Elan.
Due to the ever changing electronic world, Broom and his staff continually expand their knowledge and keep up with the latest technologies to provide the best service possible for customers.
“One of the benefits of having the low voltage company,” Broom explains, “Is that it works so well with Northwest Electrical. From the beginning of a project, both companies can work together for a much smoother process.”
