Master plumber Michael Stramer began Stramer and Son Plumbing, Inc. in September 2008. Now into his second year of full service work in the valley, Stramer has been amazed at the positive response and support he’s received.

“The first year was exceptional,” Stramer said. “I did better than I expected to and I’m really grateful to the people of the valley.”
With two full service plumbing rigs and employees apprenticing under him, Stramer and Son Plumbing offers its services on residential and commercial plumbing, new construction, remodels, service calls, and radiant heat installations.
“We’re a small outfit, but we can pretty much do it all,” Stramer said. “We’ve expanded to a second rig, and for underground work, I have contracts with local backhoe operators.”
Stramer grew up in Eureka, moved for a number of years, and returned in 2005 with his wife Cynthia and son, Cordell.
“The business just happened,” Stramer recalled. “I felt there was an opportunity to take advantage of as well as help out the people in the valley by providing some quality service.”
Things are slow for a lot of people, Stramer noted, but he remains optimistic that next year will be a better one for many people. So far, he feels his service has been very well received.
“I like to make sure the customers happy, that they know all the options when I go in,” Stramer added. “And to see that they’re satisfied with the job when it’s complete.”
