The Feed Bin began in October of 1998. Delbert Headings, owner and manager along with his wife, Loretta and son, Jon, saw a need for quality feeds at competitive prices. He was looking for a way to save trips to Kalispell to buy fed for his animals. Delbert will do all he can to keep prices competitive.

The Feed Bin retails Lakeland Feeds, a Montana based company that supplies fresh non-medicated prepared feed and fresh milled grains. Lakeland Feeds is now completely free of all animal by-products.
The Feed Bin provides a full line of animal feeds for the animals throughout north Lincoln County. They especially support the 4-Hers by giving them a 10 percent discount on all feed for their 4-H animals.
There are feeds for cattle, horses, sheep, and goats and all your pets, even hamsters, squirrels, guinea pigs, finches, canaries, parrots, or whatever you own. You can also find food for your wildlife friends; wild bird food or black-oiled sunflower seed.
Come in for free dog food samples and try out the line of high quality, all-natural dog food fortified with glucosamine, chondroitin and omega 3 and 6. At the Feed Bin you can still find something for a penny; little dog treats for that special puppy. All dog bones can be purchased in bulk by the pound.
In the spring there is always a variety of poultry waiting for a home. You can place a special order or choose from what is already in the brooder. Then there are also the bunnies. Along with the birds and bunnies and their feed, you will find all the feeders and waterers, lights and vitamins needed to care for them and give them a comfortable home.
For your lawn and garden needs, The Feed Bin offers fertilizers and lawn and pasture seed mixes for reclaiming disturbed soils. They sell garden seeds including organic and heirloom seeds, onion sets, and seed potatoes. Look here for other gardening supplies and needs.
There is a full line of fencing materials; wood and steel posts and all types of wire and electric fencing supplies. You can also get your corral panels and gates at The Feed Bin.
Hay and straw are available year round as much as possible. Delivery can be arranged.
Besides feed for you animal needs, you can shop for your own natural and organic foods and snacks. The Feed Bin is the place to buy Montana raw honey, Wisconsin maple syrup, and Wheat Montana flours and grains. Grind your own wheat if you want to with the on-site stone grinder. The Feed Bin is the place to come for your food storage needs.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
