Eureka Prompt Care

Eureka Prompt Care has provided quality medical care to the residents of the Tobacco Valley since 1993. Affiliated with Kalispell Regional Medical Center, Eureka Prompt Care is owned by Northwest Healthcare, they are committed to continued growth and support as the communities needs expand.
The staff at Eureka Prompt Care provides full spectrum family care, including nursing home care, gynecology, contraception, prenatal care, circumcision, well-child care, vasectomy, coumadin protime monitoring, treadmill cardiac testing, skin lesion removals and orthopedic care. We are also pleased to provide flexible sigmoidoscopy for colon cancer screening. Lab and x-ray services are available on-site, and on campus is a lighted helipad for emergency evacuation by air to complete the minor emergency room. Services are provided by American Academy of Family Physician Board Certified physicians Ed Stein, MD and Glenn Houser, MD as well as by R. James Schmidt, PA-C.
There are a number of visiting providers from the Kalispell area who assist in providing specialty care including cardiology, podiatry, orthopedic medicine, urology and obstetrical care. Eureka Prompt Care works with many primary or specialty physicians in the Kalispell and Whitefish area to coordinate local medical care.
This past year has been a time of growth and expansion to meet the community’s needs. We have been pleased to extend our hours and we are now open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. In addition we have added digital x-ray capability to our list of services offered. This new technology allows us to immediately consult with radiologists in Kalispell during emergency situations. Last but not least, we offer mammography services as well as bone-density scans twice a month via a traveling coach out of Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
We continue to remain committed to “Providing quality, compassionate and timely care to the residents of the Tobacco Valley.”
