Owner Kevin Workman began Pinkham Creek Fencing only two years ago, but fences are something he’s been doing his whole life.
“I’d say nine years of fencing work, for other people,” Workman said, then added with a laugh. “And I built fences all my life with my dad.”

Workman has lived in the Tobacco Valley nearly his whole life, and Pinkham Creek Fencing is his way of making a living and serving the community.
The length of a fencing job depends on the terrain, type of ground, and the type of fence; barbed wire, barbless wire, vinyl, chainlink, half-rail, rail, or cedar, the fence type is up to the homeowner.
“I’ll put any kind of fence people ask me to,” Workman said.
In summer of 2008, local Randy Martin joined forces with Workman, bringing with him more experience and equipment.
“He had his own business,” Workman explained. “But it was his idea – so we just went together.”
