Eureka Truss Company, LLC is now in its sixth year of operation under Ken and Lisa Marek. They are enjoying their “not so new” location located west of Eureka on Highway 37.
Their addition of a Boom Truck/Crane has enhanced the business tremendously and allows them to schedule truss “sets” and deliveries at the same time, which is great for everyone when you only have to line up one person to do both jobs. They are licensed, bonded and DOT certified and have three licensed operators in their shop.
“We also switched engineering companies about two years ago and it is great to have on hand an engineer who can help with design, structure or any other odd layouts that come our way,” said Marek.
Eureka Truss can help you with any job, small or large, from a six foot truss to a 70 foot truss. They also service the Flathead area and have been known to send a semi or two down South to customers carrying their products.
“We have stayed so competitive with our prices that it is nothing unusual for us to bid against a larger competitor and underbid a job, which is great for us because we realize every job counts when you have four guys depending on you for a paycheck,” says Lisa Marek. “We also have a reputation of knowing exactly what goes out the door and what the final product looks like on almost every job, creating less problems for everyone.”
Eureka Truss Company has also expanded their business to include Eureka Truss & Roofing Supply, which Lisa has started. “I was so bored, not feeling like I was doing anything, that it has been exciting to see the demand be filled under one roof. I have a great supplier who gets me a great product with a great price. It works out great too, because we are already seeing the new people with construction projects and already have a good relationship with our contractors, so it goes hand-in-hand with our trusses. I am currently working on getting a metal account to sell tin for roofs, but it is still in the “baby” stage. We sell CertainTeed Landmark and Landmark Plus premier architectural shingles and also metal shingles in a variety of colors. They can also order ceder shakes for those that like the wood look. Eureka Truss is also looking at another expansion, gearing towards more components of the construction process and hoping to offer a package deal on a few products. Details will come at a later date.
